According to the Daily Mail, Alisha Lehmann, who currently plays for Leicester City, has recently publicly refuted accusations that she is “not taking her career seriously.”

With over 27 million followers, Lehmann has been dubbed the “world’s sexiest female footballer,” but this label has also become a burden. She revealed that in her early years, constant claims that she focused more on TikTok than on football pushed her to the brink—she even broke down and begged her mother to let her retire.

Now 26, Lehmann emphasized: “People think that after training I just put on makeup and scroll through my phone—that’s completely untrue. I stick to a daily nap routine, strictly follow my recovery plan, and only leave training once my performance data meets the required standards.”

Having returned to the English top flight, Lehmann says she has learned to block out external noise: “I’ve changed a lot. Now I just focus on my performance. My professionalism speaks for itself—my coaches and the data prove it.”
