Arsenal have reportedly completed the groundwork for their first signing of the summer by reaching an agreement with Club Brugge to bring Greek international Christos Tzolis to the Emirates Stadium. Fresh off their Premier League triumph after a 22-year wait, the North London club are wasting no time strengthening the squad as Mikel Arteta looks to build a team capable of competing for multiple trophies next season.

The 24-year-old winger emerged as one of Europe's standout performers during the 2025/26 campaign, delivering an outstanding return of 22 goals and 29 assists in 52 appearances for the Belgian champions. His impressive attacking output convinced Arsenal to prioritize his signing, with negotiations between the two clubs progressing steadily before an agreement was reached on a transfer worth around €40 million, or approximately Rp867 billion.

Tzolis is expected to travel to England to complete the final stages of the move after receiving permission from Club Brugge. Once in London, he will undergo a medical examination before signing his contract and being officially unveiled as Arsenal's newest player. Despite securing the signing of Tzolis, Arsenal are not planning to stop their recruitment drive.
