Arsenal's squad has arrived in Girona, where the players took the opportunity to cool off and unwind in the swimming pool ahead of their pre-season schedule.
The Gunners will face Spanish second-tier side Girona away from home this Saturday at the Estadi Montilivi. Manager Mikel Arteta has taken his squad to Catalonia for a pre-season training camp.
On their first day after arriving, Arsenal completed both on-pitch training and gym sessions. Following the workouts, the players relaxed in the pool, enjoying a light-hearted game of head tennis and sharing plenty of laughs.

Players who featured at the FIFA World Cup, including Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke, and Eberechi Eze, are still on holiday. However, several star names, such as Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyökeres, and Gabriel Jesus, have travelled with the squad.
Arteta will also use the training camp to assess new signings Christos Tzolis and Lucas Chevalier. In addition, Reiss Nelson and Fábio Vieira, who both spent last season out on loan, have joined the trip.
After facing Girona on Saturday, Arsenal will continue their pre-season campaign with friendlies against Real Betis, Borussia Dortmund, and Como. They will then kick off the new domestic campaign by taking on FA Cup winners Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 16.
