According to Sport Arena, Sevilla forward Rafa Mir has obtained his passport and is now able to move abroad to continue his football career.
In June this year, Rafa Mir was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison by the Valencia Provincial Court after being found guilty of sexual assault. The Sevilla striker has maintained that the incident was consensual rather than sexual assault, rejected the court’s ruling, and has filed an appeal against the verdict.
This summer, Rafa Mir was excluded from Sevilla’s first-team training sessions and has only been allowed to train individually. Previously, Las Palmas showed interest in signing him, but the move ultimately failed to materialize.
According to the report, Rafa Mir’s most likely destination is a club in the Middle East.
