The Ukrainian winger is once again eligible to play following the conclusion of disciplinary proceedings related to his doping case. His availability provides the club with an additional attacking option after spending more than a year away from competitive action.

Mudryk was provisionally suspended in December 2024 after testing positive for Meldonium, triggering a lengthy investigation under anti-doping regulations. Following the completion of the disciplinary process, the Football Association confirmed that the case had been resolved with the approval of the World Anti-Doping Agency. As a result, the 25-year-old has been fully reinstated and is now eligible to participate in all official competitions.

The decision allows Mudryk to immediately rejoin Chelsea's first-team activities, including the club's pre-season preparations. His return comes at an important time as Chelsea continue building their squad for the upcoming campaign. The winger is expected to compete for a place in the starting lineup after missing a significant period of football due to the suspension.
