Regarding the controversial incidents in the Madrid derby, Tebas said: “I understand criticism, but I cannot understand them saying that the competition is rigged. When some people look at Bellingham’s incident, it seems as if they are wearing different glasses from everyone else in the world. He could not possibly have been sent off for that.”

“As for Lee Kang-in’s incident, it could indeed have been a red card, but it was not as obvious as some people have claimed.”

When asked again about his relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, Tebas gave a clear answer.

“As long as Florentino Pérez remains Real Madrid president, our relationship cannot be repaired. The issue is Florentino Pérez’s football model, which we do not support. If there is another president in the future, we will see what happens. I completely disagree with the current leadership, but I have no hostility toward Real Madrid. I have been a Real Madrid fan since I was a child.”
